June 2026 : Orthodontic care is about to get a whole lot smoother and faster for millions across the Asia-Pacific. Align Technology Inc. - the brilliant minds behind the world-famous Invisalign clear aligners - has recently announced a massive global expansion strategy centered right here in India. The company plans to break ground on a multi-million dollar manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, injecting approximately $200 million in capital and operational expenses over the next few years to capture the booming local and regional market.

The new facility will sit alongside Align’s existing presence in the city, which already hosts its Global Capability Center and the Align Innovation Center. When it kicks into gear in 2027, the site will mark the company's first manufacturing footprint in India - and only its fourth globally. Beyond the massive tech upgrade, the facility is expected to act as an economic engine, creating over 300 direct jobs for local professionals.
