Bajaj Auto Appoints Abraham Joseph as MD, Ramtilak Ananthan as CTO of Chetak Technology

With the appointment as the Managing Director, Mr. Joseph ceases to hold office as the CTO.

April 2024 : Bajaj Auto has appointed as the Managing Director and Ramtilak Ananthan as the Chief Technology Officer of Chetak Technology Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company focused on EV landscape, from April 1, 2024.

Mr. Joseph started his tenure in Bajaj in July 1989 as a Graduate Trainee Engineer, took over as General Manager (R&D) , Vice President (R&D) and Chief Technology Officer. He is a Mechanical Engineer from the National Institute of Technology, Bhopal. With the appointment as the Managing Director, Mr. Joseph ceases to hold office as the CTO.

Mr. Ananthan, before being appointed as the Chief Technology Officer, headed the Test & Validation at R&D department of Bajaj Auto Limited. He started his career at Bajaj Auto Limited in April 1994. He holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa, USA and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai.
