Amit Kalyani has been associated with Bharat Forge since 1999, starting his career focusing on operations & manufacturing before moving on to IT and Finance. He has played a key role in strategy and execution of the several acquisitions made by the Company and has widely contributed to the Company’s success along with diversifying of business by pioneering into new ventures.

April 2024: : Upon the recommendations of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee, the Board of Directors of the Company in its Meeting held on Wednesday, 3rd April 2024 approved the re-appointment of Amit Kalyani as a Whole-time Director designated as “Vice-Chairman and Joint Managing Director” of the Company for further term of five (5) consecutive years commencing from 11 May 2024 till 10 May 2029 (both inclusive). This re-appointment is subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company.

Amit Kalyani’s present tenure as Joint Managing Director of the Company will conclude on 10 May 2024. Further, in compliance with the circulars dated 20 June 2018 issued by National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited, respectively, we wish to confirm that, Amit Kalyani has not been debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any order issued by SEBI or any other Authority.

Amit Kalyani is the son of Babasaheb N. Kalyani, Chairman and Managing Director of the Company. Except for this, Amit Kalyani is not related to any other Director. Amit Kalyani has been associated with Bharat Forge since 1999, starting his career focusing on operations & manufacturing before moving on to IT and Finance. He has been the Company’s Executive Director since May 2004. He has played a key role in strategy and execution of the several acquisitions made by the Company and has widely contributed to the Company’s success along with diversifying of business by pioneering into new ventures. His current focus in on revamping the HR practices and processes aligned with the objectives of accelerating organic and in organic growth including new age technologies.

At Bharat Forge, Amit Kalyani has contributed immensely towards ESG emission reduction and improving overall ESG score of the Company, initiatives towards increased consumption of renewable energy, digitization, revamping of Company policies including digital advancements to further improve the Company operations and productivity. He is a member of many committees of the Government of India on manufacturing, education, skill development and bilateral relations. He is extremely passionate about manufacturing, technology and CSR especially in the areas of education, healthcare and giving back to Society.
