January 2026 : Crystal Crop Protection Limited, a leading powerhouse in the Indian R&D-based crop protection sector, has recently announced the elevation of Kavishwar Kalambe to its Board of Directors. Currently serving as Whole Time Director and Vice President, Kalambe’s appointment to the board underscores the company’s strategic focus on operational excellence and sustainable agricultural innovation.

In his new capacity, Kalambe has outlined three primary pillars of focus: driving technological advancements in manufacturing, strengthening sustainability initiatives for the environment, and building strategic partnerships to accelerate growth.

A seasoned Chemical Engineer with a BE from North Maharashtra University (1996-2000), Kalambe brings over two decades of high-level operational experience to the board. His career began at Ion Exchange India Ltd, followed by pivotal roles at Heubach India, Gharda Chemicals, and Bayer Crop Science. He spent nearly a decade at BASF (including Ciba Specialty Chemicals) before leading greenfield projects at Thermax Limited. His leadership journey continued through INEOS Styrolution, Aarti Industries Ltd, and Huntsman Corporation, eventually serving as COO at Best Value Chem Pvt Ltd before joining Crystal Crop Protection in early 2025.
