September 2025 : Eastman Auto & Power Limited has recently announced the appointment of Mr. Nitin Saxena as the new President – Operations for its subsidiary, Eastman New Energy Pvt. Ltd. (ENEPL). In this critical role, Mr. Saxena will lead the operations of the company's rapidly expanding Lithium-Ion Battery Division.
The appointment underscores Eastman’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team as it accelerates its growth agenda in the clean energy sector. The company highlighted that Mr. Saxena’s decades of experience and strong operational acumen will be key to building value for all stakeholders.
Mr. Saxena brings over 30 years of proven track record in manufacturing operations, P&L management, and strategic planning within the automotive components sector. His expertise spans operational excellence, business transformation, and profitable growth, gained through leadership positions at prominent firms.
Before joining Eastman New Energy, Mr. Saxena served as Business Head for the Sensor Division at Spark Minda. His extensive background also includes significant operational leadership roles such as Chief Operating Officer at Stoneridge JV (Minda Stoneridge Instruments Ltd.) and Plant Director at GKN Driveline India Ltd., where he managed large-scale plant operations and was responsible for overall P&L, new program launches, and achieving business growth. A Mechanical Engineer from Nagpur University, he further pursued post graduation from IMT Ghaziabad and IIM Ahmedabad.
