July 2026 : CORE Energy Systems Limited has signed a definitive licensing agreement with Flowserve Corporation. The high-profile pact paves the way for the localized manufacture of Primary Coolant Pumps - one of the most demanding, safety-critical technologies in nuclear power generation.
The agreement was signed at the CORE headquarters in Navi Mumbai, marked by the personal presence of Scott Rowe, President & CEO of Flowserve Corporation. His attendance underscores the engineering giant’s deepening commitment to India's ambitious nuclear roadmap, which aims to achieve 100 GWe of nuclear power capacity by 2047.
Flowserve brings over two centuries of legacy in delivering mission-critical pumps, valves, and seals. By combining this global expertise with CORE’s two decades of specialized experience in India’s domestic nuclear program, the partnership establishes a robust foundation for long-term manufacturing capabilities within the country.
The landmark event was attended by key leadership from both organizations. Representing Flowserve alongside Scott Rowe were Dr. Karthik Sivaraman (VP, Innovation & Growth), Elie Abi Saab (Director, Sales, Middle East, Europe & India), Amit Ranjan (Accounts Manager, India Nuclear), and Nandagopal Dhamodarasamy (Sales Manager, India Project Sales). The host delegation was led by CORE’s executive team, including Nagesh Basarkar (Chairman & Managing Director), Mohan Singh (ED, Corporate Strategy & People Management), Badrinath Sawant (Chief Engineering & Technical Officer), and Padmanabhan Parasuram (AD, Design & Engineering).
The partnership is poised to be a game-changer for indigenous manufacturing, moving beyond mere technology transfer to true collaborative innovation.
