October 2026 : FORVIA has recently appointed Pankaj Kapoor as President of FORVIA Group India, entrusting him with unified strategic leadership across the group’s Faurecia and HELLA operations nationwide. Operating out of Pune, Kapoor will drive sustainable growth, operational excellence, and local innovation across five core business divisions: Seating, Electronics, Clean Mobility, Lighting, and Lifecycle Solutions.

Kapoor steps into the role with over 31 years of rich leadership experience across the automotive, mobility, and clean technology sectors. His deep background spans P&L management, product engineering, sales and marketing, global supply chains, and decarbonization strategies for next-generation mobility.

Before joining FORVIA, Kapoor held key leadership positions at several prominent global and Indian automotive organizations. His career features senior executive roles at Cummins India and Hyva India. He also co-founded and led AMR AI Digital, spent 15 transformational years at Tenneco in top leadership roles, and served at Omax Autos Ltd., Motherson Group, Federal-Mogul Motorparts, and Uno Minda.

Kapoor holds a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Board of Technical Education, New Delhi (Arya Bhatt Institute of Technology), an MBA in Sales & Marketing from the All India Management Association (AIMA), and completed the Advanced Management Program (ADP) in Strategy and Leadership from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
