May 2026 : Vishal holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology and a PGDM in Marketing from Institute of Management Development and Research (IMDR), Pune.

Vishal’s path to this dual leadership role is paved with over 25 years of global experience. Before joining Godrej Industries, he spent nearly a decade at Ecolab, holding high-level regional roles across India, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. His career also includes a long, 12-year tenure at Diversey, where he rose to Global Vice President while based in Amsterdam. Earlier in his career, Vishal built a strong foundation in marketing and sales at Mecklai Commercial & Financial Services, GE Lighting, and Mafatlal Industries Limited.

The Godrej Industries Group has recently announced a significant leadership expansion, appointing Vishal Sharma as the Chairperson of Astec Lifesciences Limited.
