October 2026 : HFCL Limited has recently announced the promotion of Manohar Pol to the position of Associate Vice President - Manufacturing. Based out of Hyderabad, Telangana, Pol steps into this senior leadership role after nearly 14 years of driving operational excellence and scale across the company's manufacturing footprint.
The leadership elevation comes at a pivotal time for India’s telecom and manufacturing ecosystem, where localized production, advanced fiber-optic networks, and high-tech connectivity infrastructure remain crucial drivers of industrial growth. In his new capacity as Associate Vice President, Pol will oversee manufacturing operations on-site in Hyderabad, steering plant performance, technology integration, and long-term production strategy.
Pol brings nearly three decades of hands-on industry expertise in production, product development, and operational leadership. He began his career at Sterlite Technologies Ltd. as an Officer - Operations in Silvassa, later advancing to Associate Manager - Product Development during his 14-year tenure there. He then joined HFCL Limited as Senior Manager Production in Goa, steadily rising through key leadership roles including Assistant General Manager, Deputy General Manager, and most recently, General Manager in Hyderabad.
Academically, Pol holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Organic Chemistry from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Operations Management from Sikkim Manipal University (SMU).
