April 2026 : In a significant leadership move for the automotive sector, Puneet Kathuria has officially stepped into his new role as General Manager - Operations (Plant Head) at Imperial Auto Industries Limited Group. The appointment marks a homecoming of sorts to a city he knows well - Faridabad - bringing over two decades of heavy-hitting industrial expertise to the Imperial Auto team.
Kathuria’s career is a masterclass in modern manufacturing. With 23 years of progressive experience, he has built a reputation for transforming plant floors into high-output, cost-efficient powerhouses. From navigating the intricacies of the spring and seat manufacturing industries to mastering the nuances of unionized environments, his approach consistently prioritizes a culture of discipline and accountability. His track record is bolstered by a deep technical understanding of ISO and Safety Norms, along with a proven ability to implement advanced production systems.
A Mechanical Engineering graduate from Delhi University, Kathuria’s professional journey began gaining major momentum at New Allenberry Works. He later served as Unit Head at Saket Metal Technocraft Ltd., followed by a successful tenure as AGM of Operations at JBM Industries Limited. Before joining Imperial Auto, he held senior leadership roles at INDOAUTOTECH and most recently as GM - Operations at Talbros Automotive Components Limited.
