October 2025 : A significant collaboration poised to redefine luxury and comfort in Indian rail travel was announced today, as Kineco Limited - World of Composites and Kinet Railway Solutions signed a binding contract. This landmark agreement focuses on the design, development, and delivery of complete interior systems for the mock-up and first two prototype Vande Bharat Sleeper Trains, currently being built by KINET at the Marathwada Rail Coach Factory (MRCF), Latur.

This contract marks the beginning of an anticipated long-term partnership on the much-awaited 120 Vande Bharat EMU project, emphasizing innovation, precision, and a shared vision to elevate passenger experience.

Kineco Global Rail, the flagship brand of Kineco’s IRIS-certified railway division, will bring its proven expertise in turnkey rail interiors, sanitary modules, vacuum systems, and passenger doors. The partnership aims to set world-class standards in India for rail interior aesthetics, reliability, passenger convenience, comfort, and safety.

The furnishing of the mock-up coach has already been completed at Kineco's factory in Goa and is slated for presentation to Indian Railways in the coming weeks.
