LAPP Group Inaugurates Third Production Facility in India, Strengthening Local Presence

September 2025 : LAPP Group is celebrating a new milestone with the inauguration of its third state-of-the-art production facility in Dharuhera, northern India. This expansion marks a significant step in the company's commitment to the Indian market, ensuring closer customer proximity and the delivery of tailored solutions.

LAPP India, a 100% subsidiary of the Germany-headquartered LAPP Group, began its operations in India in 1996. The new Dharuhera plant joins its two existing manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru and Bhopal. In addition to these production sites, LAPP India operates five warehouses strategically located across the country to effectively serve its customers.

With this new facility, LAPP will enhance its capabilities to deliver a comprehensive range of products, including power and control cables, data communication cables for Ethernet and Fieldbus technology, optical transmission systems, industrial connectors, glands, conduits, and various accessories. The company also offers integrated solutions such as plug-and-play cable and connectivity solutions under its ÖLFLEX® CONNECT brand, as well as industrial communication solutions.

LAPP India serves a diverse portfolio of customers across key industry segments, including automotive, cement, textile, food and beverage, infrastructure, machine tools, metal and mining, oil and gas, railways, renewable energy, and e-mobility. The new Dharuhera facility will reinforce LAPP’s "Local for Local" strategy by strengthening its manufacturing capacity and enabling it to better meet the evolving demands of the Indian market.
