September 2025 : Lubrizol has recently announced the appointment of Abhishek Shrivastava as its new Managing Director for the India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA) region. In this critical leadership role, he will oversee the company’s strategic growth and commitment to the region, including propelling local innovation and strengthening manufacturing and supply chain capabilities.

Mr. Shrivastava brings nearly 20 years of industry experience to the role, with a strong background in business transformation, new business development, and R&D. Prior to this appointment, he served as Lubrizol's Vice President, Innovation and Decision Science, where he led the development of growth platforms, sustainable product development, and digital innovation capabilities.

As IMEA Managing Director, Mr. Shrivastava will be responsible for driving the region’s growth strategy, with a strong emphasis on enabling local teams and advancing a "local-for-local" business model. He will work closely with global and regional leadership to identify market-specific opportunities and enhance engagement with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
