August 2024 : On August 12, 2024, Nitin Mengi, Chairman and Managing Director of Lubrizol India Private Limited and Vice President (Additives) for the IMEA region, was felicitated by the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) for Lubrizol's recent investment in Aurangabad. This investment marks the establishment of Lubrizol's largest manufacturing facility in India at the Aurangabad Industrial City (AURIC).

The new facility is set to significantly enhance Lubrizol's ability to meet the growing demands of the industrial and transportation fluids market in India. This development aligns with Lubrizol’s strong commitment to the Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat initiatives, pushing the boundaries of innovation within the industry.

The felicitation ceremony was graced by Uday Samant, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, as the chief guest. The event also saw the participation of several government officials and leaders from the Chamber of Marathwada Industries & Agriculture.
