October 2026 : Olectra Greentech Limited has recently appointed Dr. K. C. Vora as Vice President for Innovation and Strategic Partnerships. In this role, Dr. Vora will lead efforts to establish a robust innovation and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) ecosystem across product design, manufacturing, sales and service, and advanced technology development - including hydrogen fuel-cell buses.

Dr. Vora brings over four decades of distinguished expertise equally split between industry leadership and academic excellence. His career spans roles at Walchandnagar Industries, Emitec Technologies GmbH, Mahindra & Mahindra, and the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), where he served as Senior Deputy Director and Head of the ARAI Academy. He has also served as CEO of COEP's Bhau Institute, Program Director at NAMTECH, Independent Director at Atul Auto Ltd., and Chair of the ASDC Expert Group on Electric Vehicles. Beyond corporate roles, he is a long-standing mentor with SAEINDIA and serves on advisory boards across various institutions.

His educational credentials include a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from BVM, an M.E. in Automotive Engineering from VJTI, and a Ph.D. from IIT Bombay, alongside specialized training at the University of Luxembourg.
