September 2024 : Philips, a global leader in health technology, has appointed Bharath Sesha as the new Managing Director for the Philips Indian subcontinent, effective September 1, 2024.

In his new role, Mr. Sesha will spearhead Philips' growth strategy in India, with a strong focus on enhancing customer satisfaction and driving operational excellence. He will oversee the company's Healthcare business headquartered in Gurgaon and manage key operations, including the Philips Innovation Campus (PIC) in Bangalore, the Healthcare Innovation Centre (HIC) in Pune, and Global Business Services (GBS) in Chennai.

Mr. Sesha succeeds Daniel Mazon, who served as Vice Chairman and Managing Director for the Philips Indian Subcontinent until April 1, 2024, before taking on a global role at Philips headquarters in the Netherlands.He brings over two decades of global experience, with a deep understanding of the Indian market, particularly in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Prior to joining Philips, he was the Managing Director at Heubach Colorants India Ltd., where he was recognized for his strategic leadership and ability to drive innovation.
