February 2026 : The Indian deep-tech drone sector has gained a major boost with the appointment of Seshadri Venkatadri as Program Director at Comrado Aerospace. An incubated startup within the prestigious ARTPARK-IISc (AI & Robotics Technology Park) ecosystem, Comrado Aerospace is positioning itself at the forefront of mission-critical aerial solutions.

Venkatadri, a veteran with over three decades of engineering leadership, will lead the company’s ambitious drone programs. His transition from global aerospace giants to a high-growth startup underscores the increasing maturity and appeal of India’s indigenous aerospace ecosystem.

Venkatadri joins a team focused on solving complex challenges in autonomous flight. His expertise in Prognostic Health Management (PHM) and reliability engineering is expected to be a game-changer for Comrado, where building robust, mission-critical systems is the primary objective.

His professional journey began as a Scientist at National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), focusing on Gas Turbine blade cooling. He later spent over eight years at GE, leading fluid systems and design productivity teams. This was followed by a 13-year tenure at United Technologies. Most recently, he served as a Senior Principal Engineer at Collins Aerospace.
