TVS Motor Appoints Peyman Kargar as Next Director & CEO

August 2026 : TVS Motor Company has recently announced Peyman Kargar as its next Director and Chief Executive Officer. Kargar will step into the executive role on January 27, 2027, for a five-year term, steering the two- and three-wheeler major through its next phase of global expansion and technological innovation.
Kargar, who currently serves as President of International Business at TVS Motor, will succeed incumbent Director and CEO K. N. Radhakrishnan. To ensure a seamless operational handoff, Radhakrishnan will remain CEO until the official transition in January 2027 before moving into a Non-Executive Director role until the company's Annual General Meeting in July 2027.
Kargar brings over three decades of deep, multi-region industry experience across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. His career spans early engineering roots at Domino Amjet, Domino, and SNCF, roles at VINCI Energies and CREOS. He went on to spend over a decade at Groupe Renault in pivotal roles - ranging from Vice President of Quality and Service Excellence to Managing Director of Renault Middle East, CEO of Renault Pars, and Vice President of Commerce across 50 countries.
Transitioning into the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, Kargar served as Chairman of the Africa, Middle East, and India (A.M.I.) region for Nissan, CEO of Datsun, and Global Chairman and President of Nissan's luxury arm, INFINITI Motor Company. Beyond his corporate executive tenures, he has driven strategic ventures as Chairman of Visionary World Holding and INFINITY EXECUTIVE P.T.I.
An alumnus of INSA Lyon (Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design) and holder of an MBA from London Business School, Kargar’s vast global pedigree positions TVS Motor to sharply accelerate its international footprint and premium mobility strategy.
