August 2026 : WIKA Group has recently appointed Prashant Tonk as Operations Head - WPS. In his new role, Tonk will lead WPS operations across India, driving manufacturing excellence, cost governance, and lean system implementation. His leadership comes at a pivotal time as WIKA Group continues to strengthen its operational discipline, throughput efficiency, and quality credibility to support expanding industrial demands.

Before stepping into his position at WIKA Group, Tonk served as Plant Head at Sterling Tools Limited. His career trajectory also features high-impact leadership at Rico Auto Industries Ltd. and a distinguished nearly 15-year tenure at GKN Driveline. Earlier in his career, he built extensive hands-on expertise in quality systems and process engineering at New Holland Tractors (India) Pvt. Ltd., Subros Limited, and Eicher Tractors.

Tonk completed his foundational education in Mechanical Engineering at YMCA University of Science & Technology, establishing a strong technical grounding for a career dedicated to hardwiring operational resilience.
