September 2025 : Alstom, a global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has been awarded a 10-year, €42.1 million contract by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). The agreement covers comprehensive annual maintenance for Bombardier-made metro trains and depot operations, as well as housekeeping services.

The contract was secured through a competitive bidding process. Under its terms, Alstom will be responsible for scheduled and corrective maintenance of the trains, upkeep of depot machinery and plant systems at the Badli Depot, and overall housekeeping.

A key part of the deal is the maintenance of the onboard signaling equipment for all 103 trains on DMRC's Lines 1 & 2. This scope includes failure diagnosis, technical support, and the provision of spare parts. Alstom will also supply and install data logger cards to improve system diagnostics.

Alstom plans to leverage its global expertise and advanced predictive analytics to ensure high performance and reliability for the fleet, proactively preventing failures and reducing downtime
