December 2025 : Atlas Copco Group has recently announced the appointment of Bhavin Pandya as General Manager - Compressor Technique India, marking a significant leadership transition for one of the company’s most strategic markets. The appointment represents a meaningful full-circle moment for Pandya, who returns to lead the Indian compressor business where his Atlas Copco journey first began in 2004.

With over 21 years at Atlas Copco Group, Bhavin Pandya brings deep institutional knowledge combined with extensive international leadership experience. He assumed the role in December 2025 and will be based in Pune, Maharashtra, overseeing the Compressor Technique business across India.

Before returning to India, Pandya served as General Manager - Eastern Europe and Managing Director of Atlas Copco s.r.o., where he led operations across 16 countries, including the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Croatia, Bulgaria, and Serbia. He was also a member of the Atlas Copco Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) management team.

Earlier in his career, Pandya served as General Manager - Industrial Technique, India. He managed a diverse portfolio of leading brands including Atlas Copco, Chicago Pneumatic, Desoutter, Fuji, Rodcraft, SCA (formerly SCA Schucker), Henrob, K-Flow (formerly Klingel), Seti-Tec, PivotWare, Tentec, Saltus, and Synatec.

Prior to joining Atlas Copco, Pandya held senior roles at MAN Energy Solutions. His professional journey began at Reliance Industries Limited as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in plant maintenance.

Bhavin Pandya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, an MBA in Marketing from the Institute of Management, Nirma University, where he was awarded a Gold Medal for Best Student, and has completed the prestigious International Executive Program (TIO) at the Stockholm School of Economics.
