September 2026 : In a major expansion that reinforces its long-term commitment to Asia’s booming automotive hub, Gestamp has officially inaugurated its fifth production facility in India, located in Bhagapura, Gujarat.

The landmark opening comes as the Spanish multinational celebrates two decades of operations in the country. The new facility significantly ramps up Gestamp’s regional capacity, positioning it right at the heart of Gujarat’s rapidly rising automotive manufacturing corridor.

Engineered to meet modern mobility demands, the plant features advanced technologies, including two hot-stamping lines, proprietary overlap patch welding technology, and high-precision laser cutting capabilities.
