April 2025 : Herbalife has appointed Bheemanappa Manthale as Vice President, Product Operations, India. In this role, Mr. Manthale will oversee the company's product supply and operations in India, ensuring quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. He will also drive continuous improvement and strategic transformation initiatives within the product operations.
Mr. Manthale will manage key departments, with the Senior Director of Manufacturing, Director of Quality Assurance, Senior Director of Global Product Sourcing, and Director of Supply Chain Planning reporting directly to him. He will report to David Walsh, Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing, Distribution & Logistics.
Mr. Manthale and his team will collaborate with R&D, Packaging Engineering, Project Management, Distribution & Logistics, Finance and any other functions as needed to drive and ensure the success and further improvement of India product operations.
With over 20 years of experience in the food, beverage, and nutrition industry, Mr. Manthale brings expertise in manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and supply chain management. His previous roles at Cargill and Coca-Cola included significant multi-site leadership responsibilities. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and an Executive MBA in Operations Management.
Shashi Shekhar, Sr Director, Global Product Sourcing will continue to lead the APAC and China Global Product Sourcing function under the direct Corporate GPS leadership of Ariel Wildenauer Desmarais, VP Global Product Sourcing.
