February 2025 : The groundbreaking ceremony (Bhoomi Pooja) for the IFQM (Indian Foundation for Quality Management) Academy was held recently on February 2, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the journey towards business excellence. The ceremony, held at the Devanahalli General Industrial Area saw the participation of IFQM’s Governing Council members and key partners.

The IFQM Academy is envisioned as a center for transformative learning. It will focus on enhancing cultural and collective capabilities that support strategy and sustainability for IFQM members and the broader industry. Over the next 18 to 24 months, the Academy will establish itself as a leading hub for business excellence, offering cutting-edge learning solutions in collaboration with global experts and institutions.

Key initiatives of the Academy include:

● Five Centres of Excellence, focusing on specialized industry competencies. ● Communities of Practice & Clusters of Companies, fostering knowledge-sharing and skill development. ● Training, Evaluation & Certification Programs to develop high-caliber Counsellors and Assessors. ● Advanced Learning Facilities, including laboratories with simulated environments and a robust digital ecosystem for collaborative learning.
