July 2025 : John Cockerill recently announced a major milestone at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AMNS) Hazira with the successful production of the first coil on the Continuous Galvanizing Line (CGL#3). This state-of-the-art Auto Grade Exposed Continuous Galvanizing Line is the first of its kind in India, purpose-built to meet the exacting surface and strength requirements of today’s automotive industry. Capable of processing Advanced High-Strength Steel (AHSS) up to 1180 MPa, the line ensures consistent quality for exposed applications, enabling manufacturers to produce safer, lighter, and more fuel-efficient vehicles.
