August 2025 : JSW Motors and KPIT Technologies have recently announced a strategic collaboration aimed at accelerating the future of new energy mobility in India. The partnership will leverage KPIT's extensive two-decade-long expertise in software and systems development to support JSW Motors' vision for the Indian automotive market.

This alliance underscores KPIT’s commitment to the Indian market and is set to enhance JSW Motors' ambitious plans. The JSW Group's newly launched automotive vertical is investing US$3 billion over the next five years to develop and manufacture electric, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid vehicles. The first New Energy Vehicle (NEV) is scheduled to debut in the second half of FY2026, with a 630-acre automotive hub currently under development in Bidkin, Maharashtra.

Kishor Patil, CEO & MD, KPIT Technologies, expressed pride in the partnership, stating, "Our experience across global vehicle programs and Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) architectures positions us uniquely to contribute to JSW’s vision.
