Novelis has signaled its commitment to this synergy by appointing Pushpal Jagdale as its new Global Head, IT - Manufacturing Solutions. Reporting directly to the CIO, Jagdale is set to spearhead the digital strategy for Novelis plants across the globe.

Jagdale steps into this role during a transformative era for the company. His mission is centered on simplifying the technology landscape while accelerating the adoption of AI and data-driven capabilities. By modernizing the core IT foundation, he aims to ensure that global operations remain safe, resilient, and consistently high-performing.

Before his tenure at Novelis, he spent over four years at Honeywell, where he served as a Digital Factory Lead, overseeing IT/OT integration for multiple plants. His diverse background also includes pivotal roles at Volvo Group (Mack Trucks) as an Industrial Engineer, and technical stints at Rockwell Automation, Logicon Technosolutions, and consulting projects for Sonwil Logistics and the New York State Police.

His academic credentials are just as impressive, featuring a Master’s in Industrial & Systems Engineering from The State University of New York at Buffalo and a Bachelor’s in Electronics and Telecommunications from Symbiosis International University. He also holds a specialized certificate from COEP Technological University.
