July 2026 : Parker Hannifin India’s Engineered Materials Group (EMG) has secured a landmark nationwide order from Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). Under this breakthrough agreement, Parker India will supply high-performance perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) O-rings for mechanical seals across all of IOCL's oil refineries across the country.

The nationwide contract caps off a dedicated decade-long pursuit by Parker India, marking a pivotal alignment with both Parker's global WinMap Strategy and India's national "Make in India" initiative.

The decisive turning point in this multi-year effort arrived two years ago when EMG took a bold strategic step forward: establishing a localized FFKM manufacturing line in Chennai. Building a domestic production footprint allowed Parker to demonstrate its technical capabilities firsthand. Following intensive refinery presentations and a detailed capability evaluation by IOCL's technical leadership at the Chennai facility, Parker proved its readiness to reliably serve India's largest energy provider.

To celebrate this milestone achievement, IOCL hosted a grand ceremony at its SCOPE Complex headquarters in New Delhi. The high-profile gathering brought together key leadership from both energy and engineering sectors. IOCL’s commercial delegation was led by Executive Director Mr. Anurag Sachdeva, alongside its technical team headed by Executive Director Mr. P.K. Basumatary.

Representing Parker Hannifin India were key leaders Dr. Naishadh Bhatt (BDM-EMG), Mr. Abhilash Kuruveyil (NSM-EMG), and Mr. Vikas Vats (TSM), joined by channel partner Errand Enterprises.

The event featured a strategic partnership video highlighting IOCL’s vision, followed by a comprehensive cross-product group "Make in India" presentation delivered by Dr. Bhatt. The presentation outlined a forward-looking roadmap between the two industry heavyweights, establishing a firm foundation for sustained collaboration and supply chain reliability.

This landmark agreement not only cements a long-term partnership between IOCL and Parker India but also demonstrates how targeted local investment can drive national industrial progress.
