September 2025 : Precision Engineering Technologies (PETECH), a Phillips Machine Tools group company recently unveiled its Performance Series, a breakthrough lineup of high-performance industrial CNC machines that's transforming precision manufacturing globally.
Nitin Mehra, President, PETECH emphasized their vision to redefine precision manufacturing through intelligence, innovation, and accessibility, showcasing the global success of the Performance Series with over 50 models launched and 500+ installations in just two years. He highlighted the platform’s advanced Industry 4.0, AI, IoT, and automation capabilities, positioning it as a driver of smarter, more productive manufacturing.

The Performance Series encompasses high-performance VMCs, HMCs, CNC Turning Centers with Y Axis, Vertical Turning Lathes, 5-Axis Machining Centers, and Drill Tap Centers. These machines incorporate advanced technologies that enable manufacturers to achieve enhanced precision, increased productivity, superior reliability, and cost-effective operations. The machines have earned recognition across automotive, aerospace, defence, medical, die-mould, energy, and general engineering sectors.

Nikhil Modi, VP – Strategic Marketing, Phillips Machine Tools highlighted Philips Education’s efforts to skill young people for industry needs through centres of excellence in India and abroad, enabling students to secure jobs with significantly higher wages. He shared successful collaborations, such as with JSW Energy for windmill workforce training and with institutions where Phillips’ additive hybrid machine is driving R&D. Emphasising synergy, he explained how Phillips leverages global technology alongside PETECH’s India-focused solutions to deliver advanced, customer-centric innovations for both domestic and export markets.
