July 2026 : Phillips Machine Tools Asia has officially changed the game for high-end manufacturing with the launch of the Haas UMC Masters Club. This first-of-its-kind, invite-only community is designed exclusively for elite CNC owners who have invested in the powerhouse Haas 5-Axis Universal Machining Center (UMC) Series. Far from a basic rewards program, membership is an automatic badge of honor: if you own a Haas UMC through Phillips Asia, you are already in the club.

The community was formally inaugurated by Gaurav Luthra, Technical Director of Auxein Medical - one of Asia’s most prolific adopters of 5-axis technology. Recognizing his expertise, Phillips has named him the Official Brand Ambassador for the Club.

"Gaurav Luthra's journey with Haas UMC machines embodies everything the Masters Club stands for - relentless pursuit of precision, investment in capability, and a genuine desire to push the boundaries of what's possible in advanced manufacturing," said Rupesh Ranjan, Director - Sales for Phillips Machine Tools. "Having him inaugurate and champion this community sends a powerful signal to UMC owners across Asia: this Club is built by practitioners, for practitioners."

Built for industries demanding absolute precision - like aerospace, medical, and defense - the Haas UMC Series is a major milestone for any machine shop. To back that investment, the Masters Club centers on three core pillars:

  • Preferential Benefits: Unlocking exclusive commercial perks, priority event access, and dedicated service support.
  • Technical Learning: Free Haas Factory Outlet (HFO) training and expert optimization consultations to slash cycle times.
  • Lifecycle Value: Tailored support ensuring the machine's ROI grows stronger over time.

"Our UMC customers are not casual buyers - they are forward-thinking manufacturers who have made a significant capital commitment,” said Rupesh. "The UMC Masters Club is our commitment back to them: to ensure that every member has the tools, the knowledge, and the community to extract maximum value from their machine for years to come."

Featuring Gold, Silver, and Bronze tiers, the club focuses on direct collaboration over corporate paperwork. As Rupesh added, "We deliberately wanted this to be a conversation, not a brochure. The best way to understand what the Club can do for your business is to speak with us directly."
