June 2025 : Sona Comstar (Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd.) recently announced the appointment of Mr. Jeffrey Mark Overly as the new Chairman of its Board of Directors. Mr. Overly, an Independent Director with the Company since February 12, 2021, assumes the role immediately.

Mr. Overly brings over 43 years of extensive operating experience, particularly within the automotive and industrial sectors. He has been a valuable member of Sona Comstar’s board for almost five years, maintaining an excellent attendance record at all Board and Committee meetings and contributing significantly to strategic deliberations, despite being in a different time zone.

His distinguished career includes serving as an Operating Partner in the Corporate Private Equity Group at Blackstone Group until his retirement in 2018, where he advised on lean operational excellence, supply chain improvement, and strategic opportunities for global portfolio companies. Prior to Blackstone, Mr. Overly held the position of Vice President of Global Fixture Operations at Kohler Company, overseeing global manufacturing and the entire supply chain. He also spent 25 years in various Operations and Engineering positions with global responsibilities at General Motors Corporation and Delphi Corporation.
