August 2026 : Subros Limited has hit a major milestone in its electric mobility strategy by signing a Technical Assistance Agreement with Japan’s DENSO Corporation and Toyota Industries Corporation. The landmark deal will see Subros localize the manufacturing of advanced electric compressors for electric and hybrid vehicles at its Karsanpura plant in Gujarat.

The collaboration equips Subros with critical design and technical expertise from global leaders, accelerating India's transition toward domestic production of high-value EV components. Under the agreement, Subros will manufacture state-of-the-art electric compressors designed to handle the complex thermal management demands of modern green vehicles.

By establishing localized assembly lines at its Gujarat facility, Subros strengthens domestic manufacturing capabilities and positions itself as a vital supplier within India’s rapidly growing electric and hybrid vehicle supply chains. The move closely aligns with the national "Make in India" mission to build self-reliant, sustainable supply chains for future mobility.
