September 2026 : To accelerate technology innovation and deepen regional engineering capabilities, UD Trucks India has officially inaugurated its brand-new, future-ready Development Center in Narasapura, Karnataka.

Marking a transformative new chapter for UD Trucks India, the purpose-built facility is designed to significantly boost the company’s end-to-end capabilities across core engineering, software development, advanced testing, and vehicle validation.

The facility was inaugurated by Paulraj Edwin, Managing Director, UD Trucks India Private Limited; Nishi Kazuhiro, Senior Vice President - Technology, UD Trucks; and Sato Hiroshi, Senior Vice President - Engineering Division, Isuzu Motors Limited, Japan.

The launch underscores India’s growing role as a crucial global engineering hub for heavy commercial transport. Beyond bolstering local capability, the facility integrates directly into the broader strategy of its parent organization, the Isuzu Group.

By tapping into Karnataka's rich talent ecosystem, the center will support next-generation platform development and power localized solutions for high-growth markets globally.
