December 2025 : Wipro Limited, a leading AI-powered technology services and consulting company, has recently announced the successful completion of its acquisition of the Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) business unit of HARMAN. The acquisition, originally announced in August 2025, has received all necessary regulatory approvals, marking a significant step in strengthening Wipro’s global engineering services.
With the successful closure of the deal, the DTS business unit will immediately begin operating as an integral part of Wipro’s Engineering Global Business Line.
This strategic move is set to be a major catalyst in advancing Wipro’s capabilities across AI, engineering innovation, and research & development (R&D) excellence. DTS brings a wealth of expertise in product engineering, digital transformation services, embodied AI, embedded software, and customer experience platforms.
The integration will combine DTS’s specialized capabilities with Wipro’s consulting-led, AI-powered approach, seamlessly integrating HARMAN’s AI solutions with Wipro Intelligence™, the company’s unified suite of AI offerings. This is expected to enable Wipro to deliver "truly differentiated and connected next-generation experiences" and reinforce its position as a global leader in engineering services.
