3A Composites India Appoints Raj Alakshendra as Operations (Plant) Director

August 2026 : 3A Composites India has recently announced the appointment of Raj Alakshendra as its new Operations (Plant) Director, based out of its Pune facility.

In his new role, Alakshendra will steer overall plant operations, leading site performance across production, engineering, quality, process optimization, and environmental health and safety (EHS). Working closely with local site teams and leadership, his focus centers on sharpening operational competitiveness, building high-performing teams, and driving world-class manufacturing standards to support the company’s strategic expansion in advanced composite materials.

Alakshendra’s extensive career spans key operations and leadership roles across major industrial and manufacturing firms. Prior to joining 3A Composites, he served as Plant Head for Saint-Gobain in Silvassa. His professional trajectory includes holding the position of Plant Head at Supreme Group, managing multi-unit manufacturing at Pidilite Industries Limited. He held key operational roles at Chemfield Cellulose and Nitika Pharmaceutical Specialities. He began his career at Tata Motors, Jamshedpur.

Alakshendra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur, and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Visakhapatnam.
