December 2025 : Alligator Automations, a global leader in end-of-line packaging and robotic solutions, has officially inaugurated its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Pune. Representing a ₹40 crore investment, the 1,50,000 sq. ft. unit is now the largest End-of-Line (EOL) automation facility in India, signaling a bold new era for "Made-in-India" engineering.
The facility is designed to serve as a global hub for high-tech manufacturing, integrating advanced fabrication systems, digital workflows, and expansive assembly capabilities under one roof. By tripling its production capacity, the company is now geared to manage 15–20 large-scale turnkey projects simultaneously, including complex automation lines stretching up to 80 meters.
The expansion is more than just a capacity play; it is a strategic move to reduce India’s reliance on imported robotic systems. With an annual production output potential of ₹500–600 crore, the unit is expected to slash delivery timelines by 20% and boost the company's export footprint by 30% across its 14+ active international markets.
During the inauguration, the company's leadership emphasized the milestone as a victory for domestic engineering excellence and global competitiveness. “This new plant is a major milestone in our journey to build an engineering company of global scale and global standards from India,” said Srinivas Choudhary, Founder & CEO of Alligator Automations. “We are committed to replacing imports, strengthening India’s manufacturing ecosystem, and delivering complex automation solutions that compete with the best in the world. With this expansion, we are not only enhancing our capacity but also reinforcing our belief that Indian engineering can lead on the global stage.”
As the facility ramps up operations, it is projected to create over 400 jobs in India and an additional 100 overseas, solidifying Alligator Automations' position at the forefront of the global automation supply chain.
