November 2025 : Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited (ARE&M), the flagship company of the Amara Raja Group and makers of the Amaron battery brand, has announced the appointment of Chandrasekar Radhakrishnan as its Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer. He assumes full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for the company’s flagship automotive business.

His mandate is sharply focused on driving customer-centric growth, brand-led transformation, and operational excellence. The company statement highlights that his role “combines strategic vision and enterprise execution to deliver sustainable value for customers, shareholders, and partners - strengthening Amaron’s leadership in the mobility space.” This key appointment is effective from October 2025.

Chandrasekar Radhakrishnan brings a rich and diverse professional background to the role. Most recently, he served as the Head of Business Growth (Emerging Mobility) at Hero MotoCorp. Prior to this, he held senior leadership positions across multiple sectors with organizations such as Emaar Group, Coca-Cola India & South West Asia, Nestlé,

Academically, Chandrasekar Radhakrishnan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology, a Master's in Management Studies in Marketing from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, and has completed an Executive Business Education program in Digital Business Leadership from Columbia Business School.
