October 2025 : Basler AG, a globally recognized leader in computer vision solutions, strategically expands its direct presence in the high-growth Indian market by acquiring a 76% stake in its long-standing distribution partner, Alpha TechSys Automation.

The newly acquired entity, which has approximately twenty employees, will be rebranded and operate as Basler India. This investment is a pivotal step in Basler's strategy to position itself early in what it describes as a disproportionately growing, promising computer vision market.

Harshal Pore, the founder and current owner of Alpha TechSys, will retain the remaining 24% stake and serve as the future managing director of Basler India. The agreement includes an option for a future full takeover by the Basler Group.
