September 2026 : Belden Inc. has announced a significant expansion in India for its brand, RUCKUS Networks. By leveraging Belden’s established manufacturing facility in Pune, RUCKUS Networks will now locally produce its ICX® ethernet switching portfolio, creating an end-to-end presence across research, support, and production.

The move represents an operational milestone following Belden's acquisition of RUCKUS Networks. It aligns directly with the government’s 'Make in India' agenda to boost domestic electronics manufacturing and meet rising demand for localized tech infrastructure across public and enterprise sectors.

The Pune plant complements RUCKUS Networks' existing innovation infrastructure in India. Bengaluru houses its largest global site for R&D and customer success alongside Belden's Customer Innovation Center, while its Chennai R&D Centre operates in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras Research Park (IITMRP).
