July 2025 : Calcom Vision Limited, a leading Indian Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) Provider and Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) specializing in energy-efficient electronics and consumer durables, has incorporated Calcom Astra Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary. This new entity is set to steer Calcom Vision’s exports business and accelerate its international expansion plans.

Calcom Astra will strategically focus on strengthening Calcom Vision’s footprint in key global markets, particularly the USA and Europe. It will adopt an integrated approach to exports, sourcing, and vendor development, aligning with the company’s strategy to swiftly respond to evolving global trade dynamics and growing demand from international customers.

Mr. Rajat Behal has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Calcom Astra. With over 25 years of experience across the electronics and lighting sectors, Mr. Behal brings deep expertise in scaling businesses globally, having worked with American, European, and Japanese multinationals. His mandate is to build Calcom Astra into a high-performing, export-led arm of the company. He holds a master’s degree in Operations Management from IGNOU and is an Electronics Engineer from Pune University.
