April 2023 : DP World, a leading global provider of smart end-to-end supply chain logistics, has launched a new Rail Linked Container Freight Station (CFS) in Hazira, Gujarat. The state-of-the-art facility, located near the port of Hazira, is expected to enhance the region’s trade and logistics efficiency, benefiting both local and international businesses.

The newly launched Rail Linked Container Freight Station (CFS) is capable of handling up to 36,000 containers annually. The facility is equipped with advanced technology and security systems, as well as specialized equipment for handling various types of cargo, including perishables and hazardous materials. The world class CFS will boost economic growth and competitiveness, as well as help drive overall logistics efficiencies in the region.
