April 2026 : In a major win for India’s "Aatmanirbhar" (self-reliant) ambitions, INOX Air Products (INOXAP) has officially flipped the switch on a groundbreaking facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. This isn't your standard industrial setup; it is the country’s first plant dedicated to producing 6N Grade (99.9999% purity) Ultra-High Purity Liquid Oxygen, a critical "secret ingredient" for the semiconductor and solar industries.

Until now, Indian tech manufacturers were largely tethered to global supply chains, importing this ultra-pure gas to keep their cleanrooms running. By indigenizing production, INOXAP is effectively shielding India’s sunrise sectors from global shipping delays and price volatility.

The new facility boasts a capacity of 17 TPD (500 Nm³/hr). While those numbers might seem technical, the impact is simple: it provides the lifeblood needed for precision-driven electronics and photovoltaic manufacturing right here on home soil.

The strategic choice of Hosur - a rapidly growing industrial heartbeat in South India - ensures that high-tech clusters have a dependable, high-speed supply line.
