June 2025 : KERN LIEBERS India recently inaugurated its new, state-of-the-art production facility in Pune, Maharashtra. This strategic expansion significantly strengthens the company's presence in India, complementing its existing site in Tumkur, Karnataka, and underscores its "Global competence - local presence" strategy.
The new plant spans an area of 3,892 square meters and is specifically designed for the production of smart parts for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the automotive industry. This expansion is a direct response to the growing demand in the Indian automotive market and KERN LIEBERS commitment to local manufacturing.
"Today we are not only celebrating the opening of a new production site, but also another milestone in the success story of KERN LIEBERS India. The expansion of our production capacity in Pune reflects our continued growth and our clear commitment to the Indian market," explained Wolfgang Gref, CTO KERN LIEBERS.
