June 2026 : Kineco Aerospace has locked in a massive $9 million contract with a top-tier global defense drone manufacturer. The agreement will see Kineco manufacture and supply advanced composite airframes and vital structural assemblies for next-generation Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) UAV platforms.
The high-stakes world of unmanned warfare demands materials that are incredibly strong yet exceptionally lightweight, and this order cements Kineco’s standing as a premier global partner for advanced composites. To date, the company has successfully delivered more than 100 advanced composite airframes and hull structures, serving international equipment manufacturers alongside Indian strategic defense partners.
Rather than resting on its laurels, Kineco is shifting into high gear by announcing a dedicated Centre of Excellence for Unmanned Systems Structures. This new facility will become a specialized hub for the complete lifecycle - design, engineering, prototyping, and mass production - of advanced composite structures. Its mandate extends far beyond traditional aerial drones, encompassing loitering munitions as well as unmanned surface and underwater vessels.
With over three decades of engineering expertise across aerospace, naval, and space domains, Kineco's track record is formidable. The company has already manufactured and deployed more than 40 sonar domes for frontline naval warships, produced critical components for strategic missile programs, and crafted flight-critical structures for global aerospace systems.
