May 2026 : Maruti Suzuki India Limited has selected six cutting-edge startups from the 10th Cohort of its flagship Accelerator Program. It has awarded paid Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to these ventures, paving the way for them to co-create artificial intelligence (AI) and technology-led solutions tailored for real-world automotive challenges.

The chosen tech innovators - Goat Robotics, SheerDrive, Schijnenn Digital, GenbaNEXT, Swayatt Drishtigochar, and Swiftex - are stepping into a unique collaborative ecosystem. Together with Maruti Suzuki, they will develop systems aimed at making plant operations safer, shrinking product development timelines, sharpening material-level traceability, and elevating the overall car-buying journey.

Emphasizing the vital role these collaborations play, Mr. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited said: “As our operations continue to grow, the solutions that we are co-creating with these startups will enable us to further improve safety in our plants, help reduce product design and development lead time, strengthen material traceability to support our circularity efforts, and help our dealer sales executives engage with customers more efficiently.”

“At Maruti Suzuki, we are committed to support the Government of India’s ‘Startup India’ initiative through our innovation programs. Schijnenn Digital will work to shorten the product design and development cycle, and Genba NEXT's material traceability solutions will directly aid circularity efforts. Rounding out the cohort, Swayatt Drishtigochar will handle predictive maintenance for industrial equipment, and Swiftex will deploy a dynamic sales assistance platform to help dealer executives engage customers seamlessly.

Over the last seven years, Maruti Suzuki has screened more than 6,800 startups across its diverse open innovation initiatives, onboarding 34 as commercial partners. By fostering such ecosystems, the automotive leader continues to bridge the gap between early-stage entrepreneurial agility and massive corporate scale.
