November 2022: Omron aims to enable the packaging machines manufacturers to prepare for and take the maximum advantage out of the rapid shift in automation that the sector is witnessing over the last few years with the right technologies and capabilities. This was shared by Sameer Gandhi, MD, Omron Automation India during the showcase of the company’s integrated packaging solutions at PackMach Asia, the international fair for packaging & processing industry, Mumbai, Dec 7-9, 2022.

“The post Covid world of packaging is demanding. There is a rise in the demand for better quality, more hygienic and ‘zero-touch’ packaged goods, emergence of high-mix-low-volume requirements, and upsurge in the concern towards eco-friendly packaging. Also, India is emerging as a preferred global destination for packing machinery importers. All this is making machine manufacturers look up to the global standards by going for high-end performance, end-to-end and completely integrated & scalable solutions. Equipped with solutions delivering scalability, connectivity, modularity, openness and safety, Omron is all set to help them move up the value chain. We aim to enhance our reach amongst vertical and horizontal form fill and seal (HFFS & VFFS) machine makers catering to food & commodity, pharmaceutical and FMCG markets,” Mr. Gandhi shared.
