Vedanta Elevates Anand Dubey to CEO, Aluminium Alloys Division

July 2025 : Vedanta Aluminium recently announced the elevation of Anand Dubey as the Chief Executive Officer of its Aluminium Alloys division. In his new role, Mr. Dubey will lead the strategic direction and growth of the high-quality Primary Foundry Alloys (PFA) business, which is significantly contributing to India's evolving mobility sector.

With over 23 years of extensive experience in the metal industry, Mr. Dubey brings a wealth of expertise across various verticals, including manufacturing, R&D, Capital Projects, New Product Development, Business Development, and Sales. A significant portion of his career was spent at Tata Steel, and he also gained international experience with ArcelorMittal in Kazakhstan.

Academically, Mr. Dubey holds a B.Tech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and an Executive MBA from IIM Calcutta. His leadership is expected to further strengthen Vedanta Aluminium's position in the high-growth automotive alloy market, both domestically and internationally.

Mr. Dubey expressed his commitment to the "Make in India" initiative, stating, "These high-quality Primary Foundry Alloys (PFA) are reshaping mobility in India. It is used mainly in making alloy wheels for automotive players. I am totally aligned with the Make in India theme and vision of our Chairman Shri Anil Agarwal to make India self-reliant for its needs. Apart from domestic, we are also exporting globally to many automotive players to meet their needs."
