December 2025 : APL Apollo Tubes Ltd., India’s largest structural steel tubes manufacturer, has recently announced the elevation of CK Singh to the position of Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Mr. Singh’s journey within APL Apollo is a testament to his consistent delivery of results and operational leadership. He first joined the group in September 2016 as a Senior General Manager, quickly establishing himself as a key driver of production efficiency. His career trajectory saw him rise to Vice President of Operations in 2020, followed by an appointment as Chief Operating Officer in early 2024. Throughout these roles, he has been instrumental in scaling the company’s capacity and maintaining its market-leading position. His appointment as Director further integrates his deep operational knowledge with the company's long-term governance and strategic roadmap.
A veteran of the steel industry, Mr. Singh brings a wealth of specialized knowledge in both Hot and Cold Long products. His expertise spans the entire industrial lifecycle, ranging from initial plant concepts to full-scale commissioning and ongoing operation management. Before his decade-long success at APL Apollo, he held senior leadership positions at Steel Strips Wheels Limited and Monnet Ispat & Energy Limited (MIEL), where he honed his skills in managing complex metallurgical processes and large-scale manufacturing teams.
Guided by the personal philosophy that "nothing is impossible with a willing heart," Mr. Singh is widely recognized for his hands-on leadership style and his ability to navigate the complexities of the ferrous metals sector. In his dual capacity as Director and COO, he will continue to focus on enhancing APL Apollo’s manufacturing resilience and operational agility.
