September 2026 : In a significant leadership transition for India’s automotive sector, Mr. Sriram Viji, Managing Director of Brakes India, has been appointed President of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) for the 2026-27 term.

Sriram Viji brings a compelling mix of global technological expertise and deep-rooted industrial experience to ACMA. As MD of Brakes India - he has spearheaded operational excellence and safety-critical innovations. Beyond his flagship role, Viji contributes strategic oversight as a board member of the TSF Group, Leggaro Composites, and Italy-based Mind Composites.

His career trajectory blends top-tier corporate strategy with technological mastery. Viji spent over a decade in the United States, beginning his professional journey at Microsoft Corporation, before serving global banking, media, and pharmaceutical clients at McKinsey & Company in New York.

An alumnus of The School K.F.I., Viji’s academic credentials reflect an extraordinary interdisciplinary foundation: a B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Madras, a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Aeronautics from Stanford University, and an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
