July 2025 : Apollo Tyres Ltd. recently announced the appointment of Mahalakshmi R as its Global Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective July 2025.

Mahalakshmi R is a seasoned CHRO with almost 30 years of extensive experience in HR and Business Consulting across diverse geographies, including India, Africa, the UK, and Southeast Asia. She specializes in delivering people strategies that drive business growth and innovation, having led large-scale transformations and worked with talent from over 20 countries and 50 nationalities. Her career began with Big 5 firms like Andersen and EY, followed by impactful roles in Telecom, Pharma, and FMCG. Prior to joining Apollo Tyres, she served as Head of HR for Southeast Asia at Mondelēz International.
